FPGA Engineer

A Sheffield-based, rapidly growing Technology success story is recruiting for an experienced FPGA Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.

Candidates will take full ownership of FPGAs and must be comfortable working with all stages of design and development. It will suit someone who is used to multi-tasking several projects at the same time and happy with a fast paced environment.

Role

• Create detailed specifications for FPGA interfaces and other devices.
• Verify FPGA designs, including creating test benches
• Ensure deliverables meet quality, specifications and timelines, adhering to relevant standards.
• Perform design calculations/simulations and prototyping to estimate performance, reliability and mitigate high-risk areas
• Contribute to design reviews.
• Provide support for existing products and collaborate with the technical support team as needed.
