Business Development Manager

Here at Logic Fire and Security we are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in the fire safety sector. In this role, you will be the primary customer interface responsible for developing new business and relationships to drive business growth. You will establish and implement plans and strategies to expand our customer sales base, focusing on the fire systems and fire safety marketplace. The role requires working closely with Account Managers to create a collaborative, one team environment.

What you ll receive from joining us:

For this role, a salary of £40,000 - £50,000 with OTE of up to £66,000 will be offered, additionally we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and company pension with the working hours: Mon 8am-5pm, Tue, Wed, Thurs 8.30am-5pm and Friday 8.00am-3pm. The role offers remote working if you re not local to our Head Office in Knaresborough, but if you are local, we d be happy to see you in the office. Those remote working will be expected to visit our Head Office on occasion.

Here s a look at some of the things you ll be doing:

• Develop new customer relationships and engage at all levels, including senior executives, within target customer organisations
• Identify new sales opportunities, build consultative support, and craft value propositions for customers and attend client networking events
• Manage customer contacts and act as the company ambassador in the fire safety marketplace
• Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure effective sales strategies, drive sales with new customers, and deliver accurate forecasts for orders and growth opportunities

Can you show experience in some of these areas:

• Ideally, you ll have a number of years experience developing business with the ability to technically explain our offering. We'll teach you all you need to know about our products, you just need the capacity to understand this and relay it to our customers in an engaging fashion
• Implement territory and opportunity plans and strategies
• Focus on growing new customers and exploring new opportunities
• Create customer-specific pursuit plans and achieve orders and margins above set quota to support the Annual Operating Plan
