Senior Engineer

About the role of a Senior Engineer

As a Senior Engineer, you will lead the team on site which would consist of a number of engineers. You will manage quality assurance, temp works engineering fuctions and also technical compliance.

You will be reporting in to the Project Manager.

Experience/Qualifications for a Senior Engineer

- Previous experience working on large projects

- 5 years previous experience in a similar role

- Previous experience working on concrete structures such as slipform or jumpform

- Commission and manage any external surveys required

- Define and develop the scope of the Temporary Works Consultant appointment

- Commission and manage any external surveys required

- Chair progress meetings

- Management accountability for the site engineering function

- Ensure that the works comply with the requirements of the specification and drawing

- Ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control of the works within specified tolerances is achieved

- Produce weekly and monthly progress reports where appropriate
