Production & Material Controller

Production & Material Controller required for our Manufacturing client based in Sheffield.

Production & Material Controller Benefits:

• Salary: 28-35k DOE
• Location: Sheffield, S9 - full time office based
• Hours: 8am to 5pm
• Contract: Permanent

Production & Material Controller Key Responsibilities:

As a Production & Material Controller, your main responsibility will be scheduling materials according to customer requirements and generating production orders. You will play a crucial role in liaising with both customers and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.

Production & Material Controller Key Duties Include:

• Coordinating the scheduling of materials based on customer needs.
• Generating and managing production orders.
• Communicating effectively with customers and suppliers to address any issues or delays.
• Monitoring inventory levels and stock audits.
• Working closely with Production teams to ensure material needs are met according to production schedules.
• Demonstrating a hands-on approach and providing solutions to problems as they arise.
• Address any issues with supply chain delays, material shortages or production disruptions.

Production & Material Controller Criteria:

• Have previous experience in in a similar role - essential.
• Have previous experience in timber manufacturing or a related field (highly advantageous).
• Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate strong planning, organisational, and administrative abilities.
• Be self-motivated with a clear focus and drive, contributing positively to the business.
• Excellent IT skills, particularly for scheduling and administrative tasks.
