Role: Heat Treatment Operative
Location: Sheffield
Salary: 13- 14ph
Shifts: Days (6am-2pm) and Afters (2pm-10pm) - Flexibility required, may have potential to include Nights at times.
Permanent and Full-Time: 37.5 hours

Adept Resourcing Group are proud to be working alongside a busy Heat Treatment company based in Sheffield. Together we are searching for an experienced Heat Treatment Operative to join their busy team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable longstanding business.

Flexibility is required with this role, whilst the majority of their work will be undertaken at one site, they do have three sites in total (nearby) and work will need to be undertaken at the others on occasion - Night shifts may be required when this happens.

Suitable candidates must have experience working within a Heavy Engineering environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Programming and making up Furnaces
• Weighing materials for furnaces
• Setting temperatures
• Loading and unloading materials with FLT and Cranes
• ID of Material - Pre and Post Heat Treatment
• Operating Charging machines

Skills and Experience Required:

• Experience working within a Heavy Engineering environment is desirable
• Having own FLT Licence and Crane experience is essential - Licences are desirable but refreshers can be arranged.
